Bulgaria: Gradishte and Kilifarevo Blocks
Opportunity to Exploit Convenional & Unconventional Resource¹
- Iskander has a 50% working interest in 1,414 km² (circa 350,000 acres) Gradishte block and 15 km² (circa 3,700 acres) Kilifarevo block
- Government granted a 2 year Standstill Agreement on the two licenses (which expire in July 2015) while the moratorium on hydraulic stimulation is in place
- Pipelines run east-west through the block and all have capacity for local production
- Existing gas and oil fields located immediately to northwest of of Gradishte block
- Bulgaria relies on Russia for almost all its natural gas requirements
